Feb 14th-Daddy and Teagan

We visited the girls today and brought them cards for Valentine's Day. They loved them.

Mike held Teagan. We hoped he could do a kangaroo hold, when you hold the baby against your chest, skin to skin. Holding them like this helps the babies grow and develop more quickly. But when we got to the NICU we learned Teagan was moving back into Lydia's room! The nurses wanted to keep the girls closer together. We were happy because it was hard to visit them seperately, I hated not being able to look across the room and see the other baby.

Both of the girls are doing great. They are both eating well, and had a break from the bililights today. I got to change Teagan's diaper. She woke up to complain about it and then stayed awake for a little visit. Lydia was a sleepyhead today, she was very comfortable and was not interested in visiting at all. She might be like her Momma, not a morning person!
