World Wildlife Zoo

The day after Thanksgiving we met up with Mike's cousins that live in Pheonix and our friends Kim, Casey and Jesse who live outside of Pheonix, and went to a local zoo. It was an odd zoo, but with 9 kids under the age of 12, it was good choice and we all had a great time.

Here is a picture of our gaggle of adults and children. We are missing some of the party in this picture.


Teagan and Lydia checking out the monkeys. Lydia's hair did not respond well to the dry air of the desert, so she had to wear pigtails.


When I mentioned that the zoo was odd, I was referring to the fact that you could feed goat pellets to a live giaraffe. I don't think you are supposed to get that close to wild animals.


Here is Mike feeding Teagan the giraffe goldfish crackers instead of goat pellets.
